Feel like your just getting old?
You may have low testosterone.
Many symptoms traditionally accepted as part of the aging process may actually be due to low testosterone. Testosterone deficiency has been shown to cause severe symptoms and serious disease.
A December 2007 article in the Cleveland Clinic's "Men's Health Advisor™" links low testosterone levels to decreased libido, sexual dysfunction, fatigue, loss of muscle mass, depression, impaired concentration, and loss of bone mass. A study in the February 2007 issue of "Diabetes Care™" suggests that low testosterone levels may be a risk factor for diabetes. In addition, a study published in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism found that relatively healthy men with the lowest testosterone levels had a 40% greater risk of dying over the next 18 years than those with higher levels.
Therefore any suspicion of testosterone deficiency should not be ignored.
